STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION (ROLF METHOD) & BODYWORK

A technique working with the fascia (connective tissue) which enables the body to regain the natural integrity of it's form, thus enhancing postural efficiency and your freedom of movement.

What is Structural Integration?

Structural Integration (aka the work of Dr Ida Rolf) is a unique and transformative approach to bodywork that focuses on realigning and balancing the body’s structure to improve posture, movement, and overall well-being. It works by addressing the body’s fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs, to release tension, restore balance, and promote lasting change.

Structural Integration is a holistic method that examines how your body moves and holds itself in gravity. By using slow, deliberate techniques to manipulate and release fascial restrictions, it helps to align and organize the body so it functions more efficiently and effortlessly.

Key Benefits

  1. Improved Posture: Structural Integration helps you stand taller and move more naturally by restoring balance in your body.

  2. Pain Relief: It targets chronic pain, stiffness, or discomfort caused by poor alignment or repetitive stress.

  3. Enhanced Mobility: Freeing fascial restrictions allows for greater flexibility and freedom of movement.

  4. Better Energy Flow: Proper alignment reduces physical strain, leaving you feeling more energized and at ease.

  5. Mind-Body Connection: Many clients report a sense of mental clarity and emotional release, as the physical changes often lead to emotional breakthroughs
